Big Update: I just wanted to share the
great news with everyone in that I landed a lead role in a Farrelly Brothers
film,T for Terrorists, and we start shooting at the end of this month.
I can be seen in the upcoming short
Speed Mating. Check out the trailer.
The short film Fine Line Between Cute and Creepy has been submitted
to the Academy and is being considered for their short film category.
The
The last couple of years have been very busy
for Karen. Most recently, she is featured in the upcoming Steven Soderbergh
feature, "Full Frontal," starring Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt. She can also
be seen as the lead (opposite Michael Bergin) in the award winning comedy
short, "The Fine Line Between Cute and Creepy," which has played to rave
reviews at The Seattle and Palm Beach International Film Festivals and won
"Best of the Fest" at the Rochester International Film Festival.
Additionally, she stars in festival winner "Up Against Amanda" (www.UpAgainstAmanda.com)
with Justine Priestley and David DeWitt.
The film is in negotiations with HBO, is currently being distributed by
Concorde-New Horizons and is available in video stores worldwide. She's also
getting a lot of attention in ifilm.com's festival-winner "Innocent" (Billy
Maddox, Jose Yenque) and "A Love Letter To Steve McQueen" (www.MeanTimeProd.com) |

On television, Karen can be seen hosting (and
writing/producing)
"SC Magazine" on Fox Sports West and in numerous commercials,
including Christopher Guest's "Dockers-Little Black Dresses" national Super
Bowl spot.
TV pilots include a series regular role on "Battlestar Galactica-The
Return."
Other festival winners include starring roles in John Axelson's "Opossum de
Oro"
and Michael Winnick's "The Fight," a cult classic in which she played nine
characters,
and a supporting role in Bobby Sheehan's "Seed." |

A philanthropist at heart, one of her proudest
accomplishments is a documentary film for Camp Ronald McDonald for Good
Times, a camp for children with cancer. She produced, directed and hosted
this amazing inside look at these remarkable children. |
 |
Karen has built her own in-house production
studio and has many projects in the works. She wrote, produced and starred
in "Tickled Pink," a sexy comedy short, and produced "Not Too Tart, Not Too
Sweet" in which she co-starred with Wendy Braun (Mervyn’s spokesperson,
"Evolution")
as two young moms gone out of control. |

|
An accomplished athlete, Karen has a high
tolerance for adrenaline. Water sports, rock climbing, precision driving and
gymnastics are among her favorite activities. She loves doing her own stunts
(ex. "A Love Letter To Steve McQueen," Not Too Tart, Not Too Sweet," and
"Opossum de Oro"), and stunt doubled Yasmine Bleeth's water skiing in
"Crowned and Dangerous." |

Karen is a theatre-trained East Coaster and a
graduate of Fordham University in New York City with a major in Business and
a concentration in Theater. Being a world travel-adventurer, she has
attended the Drama Studio London conservatory school, lived for a short
stint in Paris, studied art and history while traveling throughout Western
and Eastern Europe and the Middle East and recently returned from five weeks
in India where she was a Peace Ambassador representing Los Angeles and the
film industry. |
